As a university-trained, experienced photojournalist & photographer, Adrian is also a tertiary-education lecturer in these specialised fields. His other jobs are that of media analyst and media researcher/commentator. He is currently studying towards his MA masters degree in journalism at the University of Stellenbosch. His special interests and research are in the focus areas of media, democracy & development and media management. Adrian’s current keen interest and involvement with the NGO, Media Monitoring Africa, is part of his passionate desire to make a human-rights difference in society; albeit in the most miniscule of ways. In his free time, Adrian enjoys vigorous reading and analysis of newspapers, online aggregated news feeds and internet-based news/media websites.
