Completed my PhD in American Studies (Dec. 2016) at Brown University with an MA in Public Humanities (May 2013). I currently work as the editor of the AHA's magazine, Perspectives on History.

My professional research interests include museum management and interpretation, the history and culture of health and medicine, the material culture of medicine, patient narratives, and the history of alternative medicine or medical skepticism.
