I am an uninvited, white colonial settler who acknowledges and respects the St'at'imc (Lil'wat), xwm θkw y’ m (Musqueam), Shishá7lh (Sechelt), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) and səlil̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) on whose ancestral and unceded territories I live, learn and work.

I am a librarian who lives with an invisibly disability: this shapes how I live my life and see the world. I also acknowledge the privileges that I have been afforded due to my race and class.

I am actively trying to become a better ally. I know that will fail along the way but I am deeply dedicated to decolonizing our society and improving equality for all.
