I am Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Bologna-Scuola Superiore di Studi Umanistici. My research interests lie in Semiotics of Culture, Cultural Memory, Cultural Trauma.
My PhD thesis “In the Name of the Community, Analyses of Security and Terrorism Discourses” centres on the relation between the constitution of collective identities, memory and the problem of the defence from community threats. Currently I am interested in processes of elaboration of terrorist events (Years of Lead in Italy), focusing in particular on the relation between judicial discursive field and fiction.
