Dr Graham Wilson
A behavioural scientist and psychotherapist, my career has focused on organisation and individual development; I am the author of nine books and over 300 op-ed articles. A part-time Tutor in Psychology and Counselling at the University of Oxford, since 2014, I have designed and led their programme of public courses in coaching, reflective practice and humanistic counselling. As HE Counselling Courses Coordinator at Guildford College, I am responsible for our programme of degree-level courses in psychotherapy.
A research scholar in psychology and photography at the Ronin Institute (NJ, USA), my particular interest is in the use of photography to effect community change. I teach introductory photographic skills and specialist courses in Street, Documentary, Contemporary, and Travel for various FE organisations and lead a programme in photo-therapy for NHS Social Prescribing.
Having completed an 'internship' with Sentient Media, I am a member of their Writers' Collaborative.
Bodies of which I am a member include the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), RAI (Royal Anthropological Institute), IVSA (the International Visual Sociology Association), and APHE (Association of Photographers in Higher Education).
I am very open to networking and collaboration, and welcome anyone who shares similar values.
