This library contains works cited in a 2019 literature scan conducted by the George Washington Institute of Public Policy (GWIPP) for its Non-Degree Credentials Research Network (NCRN), plus additional citations that may be helpful to those who study non-degree credentials. We include literature relevant to all types of non-degree credentials, including occupational and professional certifications, licenses, certificates, apprenticeships, internships, badges, nano/micro-credentials, bootcamps, and other emergent credentialing phenomena. Most entries (and all abstracts/keywords/tags) have been pulled from library catalogs and databases, which may result in some inconsistencies in formatting.
