Twenty-nine states participated in the project, Preserving the History of United States Agriculture and Rural Life: State and Local Literature, 1820-1945, funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities between 1996 and 2008. This Zotero library compiles the titles identified as the most significant pre-1950 literature published at the state and local level on California agriculture based on the California bibliography, and where they are now digitized and available online.
