This is a participatory project by the Network of Women Doing Fieldwork to collect literature about violence that women and gender-diverse researchers and practitioners experience during data collection. A comprehensive review of this scholarship will enable us to identify gaps, improve our research methods and fieldwork strategies, and protect ourselves and each other. The Network is a decolonial and feminist collective that advocates for the safety, wellbeing, and rights of diverse bodies in research.
