The Kamau Brathwaite bibliography began as a group project at The Caribbean Digital researchathon, December 4, 2014. The Brathwaite researchathon was organized by Kelly Baker Josephs and Alex Gil, and the participants were Roger Caruth, Rhonda Cobham Sander, Rafe Dalleo, Laurent Dubois, Jacob Edmond, Kaiama L. Glover, Warren Harding, Maja Horn, Keith McNeal, Janet Neigh, Tzarina T. Prater, Leah Rosenberg, and Emily Williams. The bibliography was later revised by Teanu Reid, Clara Pomi, and Josephs. Reid and Josephs published a PDF version of the bibliography in sx salon 27 (February 2018).
