NILA - Native and Indigenous Languages of the Americas NILA is a reading & discussion group for papers related to historical, theoretical and methodological issues on native and indigenous languages of the Americas. We are based at the University of Edinburgh. Our general themes are cross-boundary related to historical linguistics, typology and theoretical investigations using American languages as case studies. Students of all levels as well as faculty are welcome.
