CNRS-Laboratory of Environmental Marine Sciences (LEMAR)
The LEMAR (Laboratory of Environmental Marine Sciences) groups biologists, chemists, physicists and environmental law scientists in order to understand and model the marine systems within the biosphere, define the characteristics of the environment and organisms, and identify their interactions. A strong multidisciplinary approach is necessary to address such a complex area as the interactions between the various components of the marine field. The LEMAR research unit has a resolutely interdisciplinary policy, based on strong disciplinary skills.
