Longstanding user of Procite (1989), Endnote (2003), RefWorks (2007) and Notabene. Social activist (1966-present), social worker (1976 to present), and sociologist (1991 to present).  I do theoretical work on human needs and human injustice and empirical work as an historical sociologist on the property tax exemption in urban history, the Cold War and social welfare, and institutional racism in higher education. I teach social theory and social policy in a school of social work, as an emeritus faculty member.
