My research focuses on the ethics of biomedical enhancement – that is, using biomedical technologies to augment the capacities of healthy people. More specifically, it deals with the following two questions:
1. How (from the moral point of view) ought the potential benefits and burdens of enhancement genetic technology to be distributed?
2. Does the possibility of altering human genetic potential mean that we should rethink our fundamental principles of social justice to deal with it accordingly?
