Sofia is a PhD student in history and law.

She is currently working at the AGORA laboratory at the University of Cergy - Paris in France and at the Criminal Justice Centre at the University of Warwick in the UK.
Her work focuses on the history of criminal and civil justice in the 19th century.

She has published in the Instituto Politecnico Nacional the book "Solo ensayo volumen II" and "Cartas de control para procesos exponenciales" (Control charts for exponential processes).

She has carried out research stays in Peru, Mexico, United Kingdom and France.
