Early modern historian, Renaissance dance specialist, and Visiting Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh. Co-director of The Shakespeare and Dance Project and Co-convener of the Early Dance Working Group for the Dance Studies Association. Holder of a Ph.D. in History from the University of Toronto, M.A. in Early Modern History from the University of Sussex, and A.B. in English from Princeton University. Research interests include intersections of dance, festive culture, gender, politics, and religion in early modern England and Europe.
