Francesco Spagnolo
Francesco Spagnolo (PhD in Musicology, Hebrew University 2007; Laurea in Philosophy, University of Milan 1994) is the Curator of The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life and an Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Department of Music at the University of California, Berkeley.
A multidisciplinary scholar focusing on Jewish studies, music and digital media. Intersecting textual, visual and musical cultures, Francesco has contributed extensively to academia, cultural heritage and archival institutions, and live and electronic media in Europe, Israel and the United States.
