Pierre-Olivier Vandanjon

Pierre-Olivier received the B. Sc and the M. Sc in applied mathematics from the Paris-Dauphine University (Paris, 1990). He graduated, as a civil engineer, from Ecole des Mines de Paris (Paris, 1992) . He received the Ph. D degree from both the Ecole des Mines de Paris and the French Atomic Agency (CEA) (1995). He has been researcher with the French Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussée, now a component of the university Gustave Eiffel, since 1997.
He provides applied mathematics techniques on research projects for transport systems (road and railway) in order to improve productivity, safety and energy efficiency. His current domain of interest is ecodesign and sustainable operation by a better territories modeling.
