I am a member of the TESOL and EMI Teams at the University of Bath and the CLiC Dickens team at the University of Birmingham. I have contributed to the development of the CLiC web app, a corpus tool for literary texts. In my PhD, I used corpus methods to study the meaning of surveillance in a range of discourse domains. My research interests include corpus linguistics, stylistics, discourse analysis, digital humanities, data-driven language learning, EMI, and crafting.
